((Hope ya don't care I'm replying to this.))
A woman, though it was difficult to tell she was so for a heavy cloak that shielded most of her female endowments, glanced up at the barker that had just entered the room. Isolde, as her name was, knew the south well and knew those regions took *some* cunning to get through successfully. Surely people these days knew better than to just enter a bar and request of a random assortment of people help. But people were getting progressively more stupid as Isolde's experience grew even more vast.
Snidely she remarked from her centralized table (disengaging from a spirited debate with a few locals), "Ha! Someone such as I *could* lead you, you'd have only to name your price."

Isolde sat down beside her new 'employer'. With a knowing snort she replied swiftly, "Mordor has no 'citizens' milady--at least human ones. Anonymous bodies mostly go under the guise of humanity." This comment was both probably hard to follow and cryptic, but it was better than anouncing within earshot of the other patrons that, yes indeed she was a servant of the Eye.
"Anyway I know the path well, from traveling it many times with Gondorians during battles and the like," she added haughtily. That was both true and false...Isolde had indeed traveled the way with Gondorians, but not in the way it would probably be taken. She hoped to give off the facade of having served the White Tree at one point. It wasn't difficult to believe, she was not an overly feminine woman with her boyish length of natty black hair, sun-scarred skin and overall athletic build. Easily Isolde could have been taken as a Northern Ranger where females were more common. But in truth the rangers were those that her horde from Mordor had taken as prisoners and executed.
"Now seeing as how your safety will be in my power," she said with a rather unsettling smile, "what's *your* business going into that region?"

"I seek someone who I believe went into the land many years but has not returned, i need to know what happened to him!" She lloked at the other women, trying to read her but as with many rangers, for she appeared to be such, they are always hard to read.
(Ooc sorry it took so long in the reply)

((no problem))
Isolde chuckled slightly, but cut it short remembering such feeling individuals as this didn't like to have their aspirations laughed at. But still, with a more serious look she returned, "There's a very good chance this person you seek is dead. But still the price is right, will you be prepared to set out in the morning?"

"It sounds fine," Isolde remarked flatly, "And you intend to leave....when?" Taking a drink, the woman rested her chin on her hand looking expectant. She was quite prepared to leave whenever her ladyship requested.

"Fantastic," she replied coolly, her look bland. "Trusting that you've everything prepared and will be providing your own equipment, I will meet you hear before sunrise tomorrow. Ah yes and before I forget, the payment? I prefer to have all my 'favors' in advance." She drained the rest of her drink and stood, awaiting the other woman to say yea or nay to handing over the gold, one hundred thrice.

"here" Enelya answered throwing a bag onto the table, "It contains exactly half, go ahead and count it, you'll get half now, and half when you bring me back"

"I'll take your word for it milady," she answered taking the bag of coins swiftly from the table and putting it into her pack securely. "I'll see you back here after what's left of this night passes. Good evening to you until then." Added quickly with something approaching friendliness before she left was, " Don't worry good woman I'm not you to cheat you. I could use a good jaunt into that region myself. There's a few things I must see to." With that she left the tavern to go to the livery...a horse was there, sent there by her master's underlings for the time when she would leave the village. That day had obviously come early and Isolde needed to see to it the animal was well and prepared. Sauron was a worthy master to have, granted you stayed on his good side and remained so up until you were either killed in battle or your purpose met. Then he obliterated you in the nicest way possible.

there was something about the women she didn't trust but there was abargain and others were counting on her, she didn't have any choice, not now.
She knew Mearcós would be ready, as always. so she returned to her room, and slipped into the bed, an uneasy feeling settling in her stomach.

The night coated her like an second skin as the woman Isolde made her way through the night to the livery. Isolde went inside, to make sure her horse was there and prepared. She cleaned it and made sure it had plenty to eat. On her watch the first with this mystery employer would be strenuous to say the least. Or at least until she got back into the habit of dealing with people on a day to day basis and considering *their* needs. Isolde took what rest she could, knife at the ready in the stables until dawn came.
With her things packed upon an intimidating large black horse, Isolde stood at the ready just for sunrise awaiting Enelya.

Mearcós nuzzled against her arm, she could sense his distrust of the stranger. "I know." she said reassuringly patting his nose "but we don't have any choice" They rounded the barn as the first rays of crimson light were diluting the perfect blackness of the sky. A figure on a horse was silloetted aginst the sky.
