Rules of the game:
I'll start off by giving a clue to the character I am thinking of, and the person getting it right gets to choose the next character.
Simple!
ok lets start it off with:
PJ upset many Tolkien fans when he replaced my role in aiding Frodo with Arwen.

No, but good guess. Maybe my wording was a little awkward. Let me try again. Peter Jackson upset many of Tolkien's fan when he replaced me with Arwen in the scene where she aided Frodo. (In other words, my character was in the book, but not the movie. )

I get it now!
[glow=red,2,300]Glorfindle![/glow]
or however you spell that cool elf! He has golden hair, and had been searching three days before he found them. They all thought that it was a Black Rider, but the harness was jingling, and Glorfinwahtever was odd for an elf, he had a saddle which they threw Frodo on, and made the horse run. Then, when he got to the ford, there was an intercourse, and Elrond, not Arwen, re;eased the flood, and Gandalf did the specail effects.

That was a good one Red. I rembered that part in the story, but I didn't have the elf's name memorized, so I had to look it up. His name was Gildor Inglorien.

yep! I love that part, and I was mental for months when they mentioned him later, and I didn't knoe who it was. If you even mentioned a G word, I ran around screaming WHO THE HECK IS HE! And then, I skimmed the entire book, didn't get it, and was rereading it, and had a celebration hyperness lasting for about a week. I think thats why I know that so well.

ok. Next character.
Aragorn chanted softly about my lady and I to the hobbits one night after they had left the Prancing Pony.
"I came from the mountains, cold' and became lost, wondering under the leaves."

oh, is it Luthien and her lover....... it starts with a B? I know it was Luthien, and she was sad cause her lover had died......... and the guy was lost, and saw Luthien, and yelled whatever, because she was so beuatiful. I laughed when it was in the movie, and Frodo was like, "Who is she?" and Aragorn whipped around, and then I laugh. am I right?
