Red lay there a little more, then to his ultimite dismay, a string cold wind picked up, and no matter where no the roof he was, it managed to find him and chill him to the bone. He jmped off the tavern, and muttered, "So much for sleeping outside." He walked inside the tavern, and neatly sidestepped two wrestling guys who hurtled past him. He walked over, and sat down, not very happy, and he ordered water from a serving person. The guy looked at him funny, but nodded, and got him some. Some druken guy walked up to him demanding why he didn't get ale. Red didn't respond, and the guy grabbed his tunic, and pulled him to his feet, putting his leering face close. "I asked you a question." Red bowed his head, and said, "This one does not wish to fight."
"Well, too bad."
Red sighed (with this face -.-), and with one hand broke the guys hold, and punched him, knocking him out cold, then accepted his water from a lightly scared looking serving guy. Red tipped him, and drank his water, even more grumpy and unhappy about having to resort to violence.

the half giant grew tired after the 11 fight, walked through to the bartender for a room and after gaining the key, he entered his room and fell to sleep.

Red finished his water, and stayed in the niosy room, he didn't really have the money to buy a room for the night. He went into a corner, and huddled there, falling asleep, and he was ignored as some drunk guy passed out.

The door of the bar opened sending a blast of freezing air rushing in with the rain. A maiden entered nestled in the deep cowl of her cloak, she ordered her drink at the bar, a mug of hocomputerer to which she added herbs and spices from a purse at her waist. She surveyed the occupants of the room, it was dirty and smelled of something long dead. Calling this place a dive would elivate it three notches.
her soft voice came from beneath the robe "Are there any rooms free tonight?"
The bartender replied that there were and she sent someone to stable her horse
"Mearcós has ridden long, see he is comfortable and has a good feed and some warm oats" she tossed the lad a few farthings and he ran out into the gale.

Red awoke, and saw the girl. He was feeling oddly refreshed after his sleep, so he cheerfully said, "Hello! This one's name is Red. May he ask yours?" He flicked his red hasir out of his face, it was always gettgin in the way.

((Okee since Marduk hasn't replied to Isolde leaving the castle, will anybody mind if I just assume the crafty little brute got out safe enough and is 'undercover' so to speak at this little inn? If anyone objects I'll edit this post.))
Thank Morgoth, Isolde thought irritably after a long walk down from the castle, then a nice uphill route to collect her heavy items. She had changed from her servants' clothing, annoyed by their instability and lightness and missing the nice armor she wore underneath her clothes at all times. The walk hadn't been that difficult, though a bit hard to see in pitch black darkness. It *had* irritated Isolde however, having to do servants' chores just to blend in. Washing the king's disgusting animal hide clothes? A task better for some miserable wench, than this particular servant of Mordor's new stronghold.
Heavy black cloak, matching breeches, shirt, armor and boots (heavier with a few well-placed weapons) doning, Isolde moved into the village looking for the tavern the warrior party had mentioned earlier. Quickly she spotted it and went inside, scanning the room for the troop members. Hmm there's that red-head, she thought, it must be later than I thought, the rest are probably in their rooms. She decided not to waste gold on a room herself, if Isolde *did* decide to sack out in the bar (a dangerous thing for a woman to do) she'd pity the poor beast that tried anything. Harsh training in the Black Land had bred in her to sleep with one eye open so to speak, with a blade at hand dreaming murderous dreams.
She put her pack on the floor beside her and ordered a drink, just to blend in. Inconspicuously she struck up conversation with the man beside her, keeping one ear to whatever the elf and the woman were saying. It might be important after all, though she doubted it. This was just the prelimenary chitchat.

bic: Red smiled, and rubbed his head, saying, "Nioce to meet you. You have a nice name. This one is called Red since he has red hair, my real name, I've forgotten it, actually. Maybe I'll remember sometime, but not right now." He smiled again.

Red nodded. "That is very good. I come from a small town, all the horses were sorely needed, it was not this one's place to take one to travel. Besides, walking is nice."

"yes the country is beautiful this time of year, but the golden woods are far more beautiful, the air is filled with the smell of wild flowers and the ladies light illuminates everything! What brings you so far from your native land?"

Red shrugged. "The need to get out, to live more than just the life that was handed to me. Everyone thought I wouldn't leave, since this one had to walk to far to get anywhere, but I proved them all wrong."
