Red shrugged. "There's savages in any place, depends on how you look at it. I mean...... I could be considered a savage here, what having my not-so-nice clothes, and untidy red hair. And... where I come from, I am considered perfectly normal. It's all in you headm but I agree with you about the Easternlings. They are a savage lot, and I bet most people would agree with me. ANd I bet if you asked them, they would veiw us as the savages."

Red gave a half smile, and nodded. "I will watch my step, small though it may be." He chuckled inwardly, he could dissapear into the shadows in the blick of an eye, or blend into the woods like a wraith. He was curious to see this half-gaint do the same. He leaned back a little.

Red sat there a little bit, then said, "Well? Are we going, what is the all mighty plan here?"

"Yes!" Gill squeaked as he fidgeted in his chair. "When do we leave?".

Bregil sighed, they were all too eager to run headfirst into death and destruction. He shook his head, looking first to Gill and Red, "We first need a solid plan before marching off to the lands of Rhun, not to mention provisions to last us much of the trip, for we know not what lies to the east. Also, I don't believe my king has yet decided what course of action he would have us take."
He then turned to Thor, "I, nor any of us can say what battles will come on the road ahead... Though we should hope not to find any large battles with so few amongst us, even the greatest warriors can fall to numbers, the fate of Boromir son of Denethor not even half a decade ago reminds us of that, no man can fight an army by himself..."
He took in a deep breath, to his own displeasure he was standing up again, now addressing the entirety of the chamber, "I would suggest taking a surveillance party, consisting of those of us gathered here, and scouting out the areas I mentioned before. Once that is complete, we should report back to Minas Tirith, either personally or by messanger, with our findings, if any. We may then receive word of what to actions to take next..." He trailed off at the end of his sentence as if going into a deeper thought, though he kept it to himself, and rested in his seat once again. Bregil looked about the room to see the others' responses.

Wren jumped up from her seat as the half-giant was baiting the man of Gondor. She strode all the way around the table to where the giant was standing over Bregil. She grabbed his large hand in her own small one saying, “My friend save your antagonizing for the enemy. If we are to work together as a team, we should try and get along. Come” she said, “Sit down the council will soon be over and then will the time for action.” Thor grumbled a bit but the ranger’s kindness won him over, and she succeeded in coercing him into the chair.
Aragon nodded at the members gathered there, grinning at the younger members. “You youngs are enthusiastic, I give you that much, but before you go rushing off into the unknown, I want to be sure that you are ready. Thor, Gill, and Red you are young and impetuous. Head my words of warning. Look before you leap, and think before you act. To help you in your endeavors you will have Wren and Bregil who are mature fighters and have been on many missions. Listen to their words of wisodom. Wren is a ranger of the wilds, who knows the wilderness. She knows how to track, how to heal, and how to hunt for food. Bregil is one of my own, a soldier of Gondor. He fought in the War of the Ring and lived to tell of it. I ask that you respect the experiences of these two who shall go with you, and not go off half flowered. I am grateful that you have all decided to undertake this mission. The fate of the world rests on your shoulders. You will stay the night here, and in the morning your journey will begin. Wren and Bregil shall lead you, but you are all important to the success of the quest. You all bring unique and diverse talents with you. Good luck and fare well on the journey of the morrow. I will leave you know to make your preparations. Perhaps I will see you at dinner if you would care to join me.”<br> When the king stood to leave they all got up from their chairs in a show of respect as he left the room with his guards. Wren turned to the others I need to restock my quiver and my food supplies; anyone not familiar with this city is welcome to come with me.

Red shook his head a little. "I may seem young and impetiuo-whatever, I was trained......" He trailed off, and his eyes showed pain. "I was trained when I was young. Yeah, that it. I've been in battles, I know loads of syuff about the woods, and I have no money. I geuss life just works that way. The big pompous idiots got everything, and those who earn their food do that that, but have nothing otherwise. So, I'll go on this trip for free, just to prove you that I am experienced. I am not known, but I am blooded, and while I don't take orders form kings, or the high up, I will from you guys, since you know what your doing." He stood up. "Hey, I think I'll come to get supplies, I know nothing of this city."

"Come then let us gather our supplies, and be ready for the morrow", she said as she led the two (who had decided to go with her) into the city. The City was built on hill at the foot of the mountain. This caused the streets to be curvy, hilly and often serpentine. The markets were located on the fourth tier, so they had a ways to walk.
There were many other people out today going about their business, walking, riding horses, and driving carts. The open market held many tents and semi-permant structures as well as stalls and booths were merchants, and hawkers were selling their wares. Wren knew of an out -of- the way blacksmith who held the highest of reputations among those of Numenorean blood. "You should be able to find a good throwing axe here", she said to Thor, as she set her own longsword down on the table in front of the man with the long, black leather apron.
The blacksmith raised an eyebrow at the ranger and asked, "You need that sharpened, Lady?" She nodded with a twinkle in her eye. She was used these types of reactions, and they ceased to ruffle her.

Red followed, and was nerviuos in the open aired market. All the peolple made him ancy, but he stuck close, and looked with wonder at all the variaty of tings that they sold. He felt a small ahdn gon into his pocket, and without looking at the thief, grabbed the kids wrist, and said, "The money goes back in my pocket, thank you." The kid did so, and glared at Red, then ran off into the crowd. Red looked at the weapons, giving a low whistle at the qaulity of some of the things, and what they must be priced as well.

after a time of looking thor finally found some throwing axes that he thought were good. *after testing the blade of them by grinding them on a hand sized stone. used to start camps* and after buying them he grumbled about the price in which he spent on them. *he got 6 around his belt line* and walked out and to the smell of foods by the vendors. and soon bout out a vendors shop, *which had meats* and thor soon packed them into his large sack, that was with his mighty axe. and walked over to the tavern for a drink. *well it was more than one drink * and in no time at all there were load noises comming from the tavern. as people yelled and roared at each other as thor was having a drinking contest with a few of the locals.

Bregil nodded a goodbye to the leaving members of the council. Standing up with a slight bow to King Elessar, he made his own way out. He asked for a messanger to inform the others to head to his home if they needed a meal or place to stay the night.
After retrieving his horse he headed to the city's fourth level, to his home. He admired the white stone walls of his beloved hometown, it had been nearly a year since he had last returned.
His eyes shined as they fell upon the estate of his family. It was fenced in with a decorative fence of iron and stone, a paved path of white stone leading to the courtyard, which was in front of the actual house. It consisted of a small fountain coming up from the floor just under a statue of his great, great, great, and so on grandfather, who was a knight in high esteem during the days of the last alliance. Around the fountain were variously placed stone benches, trees, and well groomed shrubbery. Further inward was the actual housing, a mansion of stone fashioned more in the ways of war than that of aristocracy, though fair upon the eyes as well. His family had been amongst the knighthood and nobility of Gondor since the days of it's founding, and though Bregil himself was not a rich man, his family all lived on the estate, and with many of them being officials of the court of Minas Tirith the cost of such a home was not a large problem.
Bregil rode his grey horse to the stables, which ran off a different path from the fountained courtyard than the mansion. The stables were empty of any people, only the horses. He led his mount into an empty stall, taking off it's riding gear and making sure it was fed and such, before patting it on the head and heading to the mansion.
